Atomic structure

An atom consists of a nucleus at its centre and electrons revolve around it in well defined orbits. Nucleus consists of protons and neutrons. The electrons are negatively charged (1.602×10^-9 coulombs) subatomic particles and having very high insignificant mass (9.108×10^-19 gm) as compared to the mass of protons and neutrons. Protons is a positively charged (1.602×10^-19 coulombs) and has an absolute actual mass of 1.672×10^-24. Neutron posses to electrical charge . Neutron s are present in all atoms expect in hydrogen atom

Molecule of a compund

Molecule of a compund  contains more than one type of atoms
For example :(water,h2o )

Molecule

Molecule of an element consists of only one type of atoms
For example :(Hydrogen h-2),oxygen(o-2)

Atom

●Every matter is made up of smallest indivisible and  indestructible particles which are similar in all respects they are known as the atoms. All atom consists of mainly 3 types of subatomic particles such as electrons, protons and neutrons. The central part of atom is nucleus  and negatively charged electrons revolve around this nucleus in an orbit. Nucleus  contains positively charged protons and neutrally charged neutrons.
